Went to Babbo tonight.

Probably the best pasta I’ve ever had. For what was likely the second time in my life, I enjoyed Italian wines. And our waiter tied it all together perfectly, suggesting that we basically make our own pasta tasting from the a la carte menu after we asked about about doing the “standard” pasta tasting menu with vegetarian options, and then picking the wines to accompany our pastas. Legitimately a fantastic experience and meal, which are two different, but related, things.

However, my favorite part was that they were playing The Pixies during our meal.
