When saving for an apartment, one of the first things to be cut from the budget is overpriced entertainment.  This translates to a scaled back new years - a fancy dinner at home instead of overpriced reservations and a bar package.  Of course, dinner at home always must include all the liquor.  I’ve declared 2011/2012 the year of the chocolate martini varieties I can think of.  First up was a nutella martini. Not my fav.  Next up might just be the cocktail equivalent of a peppermint mocha…

Next year, we’re throwing a party.

Next year in Jerusalem! Err… Prospect Heights.
